DESCRIPTION:
WISIN® PUR SR1-P is a high-efficient single-component system for sealing water leakages with high water flows. The product can be used to fill cavities in rock cracks, for soil stabilization and anchoring in gravel. The reaction times can be adjusted with a concerted amount of WISIN® ADD SR1-P.
ADVANTAGES AND BENEFITS:
Cracks in the building substance are structurally weak points. Penetrating water may cause damage and may reduce the usage and lifetime of the building. An elastic sealing or structural-bonding of the crack is required. In order to achieve this, the crack is filled over its entire course with a polyurethane injection resin via pressure injection. The injection resins which are applied can also be used in drinking water environments. By injecting into the damaged or cracked structures, secures and seals leaks, repair compromised structures and make them watertight again for the long term.
RECOMMENDED USES:
The injection of polyurethane-based resins using high pressure pneumatic pumps and packers, into gaps and cracks in the structures. The mixture then reacts and in turn expands and toughens, stopping water flowing through these structural joints and cracks. Best used in waterproofing and stabilization purposes structures such as tunnels, subways and dams. The Packers are placed in drilled holes drilled at slanted degrees to intersect the interior around the cracks and gaps allow the resin to infiltrate deep into the most inaccessible areas.
